To automatically be recognized by the global channel services bot ChanServ you will need a GameSurge account, this can be acquired at their website www.gamesurge.net. A real email will need to be used to activate the account. Once that is done you can log into from IRC by using this command (with your details filled out) “/authserv auth accountname password”.
This task of logging in and joining different channels can become quite repetitive and annoying, fortunately the perform tool in mIRC allows you to execute a bunch of commands automatically once connected to a server. Go into Options (Alt + O) and the category Connect – Options. Click the Perform button to bring up its dialogue. To set this up:
Check 'Enable perform on connect'
Click Add, find GameSurge, and click OK
Select Gamesurge in the Network drop down list
In the text box type commands you want (each on a new line), ie:
